THE REAL DEAL!! The only true New York style pizzeria I have found in the 11 years I've lived in Virginia. This is what real New York pizza tastes like when it's made with real ingredients -Our server Allie was amazing. Great sub and fries! Can't wait to come back and get a big old school pasta dinner!
A great bunch of folks. Servers, cooks, and owner. Very friendly. They treat you like family. Food was phenomenal. We are from out of state. Went there with family for Father's day. Every time we come back up to visit we will be eating at Anna's Pizza.
I am one to not give nor look at reviews but.. THIS PLACE RIGHT HERE!!! KaBOOM!! Real quality ingredients.. Philly chicken cheese steak was phenomenal and I don't even like Philly cheese steak,, I'm a Baltimore guy.. the pizza is done in a brick oven New York Style like IT SHOULD BE!!! Been in town working for a month and will be here through the spring and summer.. THIS IS MY GO TO SPOT NOW!! Highly impressed compared to the dozen or so spots I've tried since I been in town... and the Head Honcho is old school from Italy AND New York.. ENOUGH SAID!!!
I haven’t been to this place in about 13 years, and they STILL have the same vibe, quality, and taste. I love the family atmosphere, and this is an Italian Mom-and-Pop restaurant that will always have my heart. The food gives you an authentic and homemade feeling that can’t be replicated. The garlic knots? Delicious. The pizza? AMAZING. My girlfriend had the lasagna, and she was stuffed; she said it was really good! The pricing? Very affordable - our meal was about 26. Although I don’t live in Virginia anymore, I’ll be coming back whenever I’m in the area.
This is a Newport News, family owned and operated business. It was our first time dining in and such a wonderful experience! The Sicilian style pizza was delicious and did not disappoint. The mozzarella Caprese salad was fresh, The chicken Alfredo was the best I’ve ever had, and the service was spot on!! It was so refreshing to see the entire staff working hard, hustling and giving great service! 5 stars for this awesome local business.
Terrific service by family of founder, the Greek salad was delicious, and the simple cheese pizza had crust crafted to perfection! Enjoyed this authentic Italian eatery with decades of history. Worth a small wait for our order, we enjoyed our visit and will return to sample other items on the menu, in the future.
No better pizza in Newport News!!! Salads are wonderful and the Italian dishes sublime! Subs and Fries can't be beat..... Check them out next time you're Jones'n for good Italian!! Always can count on good service and great food!
